Our history

In 2005, a group of graduate researchers, with experience in the development of graphic computing and distributed computing applications, started working together. In 2009 Corollarium was officially created.

Focused on technology for data vizualisation, Corollarium is a company that works on web and mobile development, image processing, virtual and augmented reality. Its expertise encompasses the full development process - from design to production to installation - to offer customized solutions that have high quality and low maintenance. Corollarium has partnerships with international academic institutions and develops state-of-the-art research and technology.

Grants and Investments

Corollarium was contemplated with grants, investments and partnerships of important institutions. In addition, we have experience in writing and submitting projects for funding, helping our customers in obtaining grants and investment to support their projects.

  • XPTA.LAB (Ministry of Culture of Brazil)

    Corollarium was responsible for three open source applications in the XPTA.LAB project, a grant by the Brazilian Ministry for Culture: a virtual art project based on the work of Sonia Menna Barreto, digital TV games for the visually impaired and a software library for body tracking with cameras, skamleton, which can be used for games and virtual reality.

  • FAPESP

    São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) is an independent public foundation with the mission to foster research and the scientific and technological development of the State of São Paulo, Brazil. FAPESP has granted Corollarium Technologies a PIPE grant in 2009, for innovative research on low cost virtual reality systems.

  • FINEP

    FINEP (Research and Projects Financing), also known as the Brazilian Innovation Agency, is a public owned institution with the purpose of financing scientific and technological research and graduate courses in Brazilian universities and research institutions, as well as research and development in companies.

  • CNPq

    The Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq) is an agency of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MCT) of Brazil, for the promotion of scientific and technological research and the training of human resources for research in the country.

    Corollarium Technologies was approved on the RHAE initiative, for 18 months starting on September 2011. This grant was renovated in 2015.
